Erwu Lian Water Gate Park Introduction
Located at the confluence of Hou Dong Creek and the Tou Cheng Sand Port drain in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County, this is a large tidal drainage gate equipped with a management station to regulate water flow. The surrounding water conservancy area measures approximately 72 meters in length and 42 meters in width, totaling about 300 square meters. The park features a pavilion and a stone table, serving as a gathering place for nearby residents. Additionally, there are a 208-meter walking path and a 24-meter health path, where the public can engage in exercise and walking to promote physical health. The park is richly planted with flowers and greenery, including Casuarina equisetifolia, Rhyacophila, Cinnamomum camphora, Delonix regia, Terminalia catappa, and Rhododendron, creating a beautiful landscape that provides a recreational space for locals and tourists alike, making it an ideal place for family leisure activities.
