Erwu Lian Watergate Park Introduction
Located at the confluence of the Houdong River and the Shazikeng Drainage in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County, this is a large tidal drainage gate equipped with a management station to regulate water flow. The surrounding water management area measures approximately 72 meters in length and 42 meters in width, covering about 300 square meters. The park features a pavilion and a stone table, serving as a gathering place for nearby residents to chat. Additionally, there are a 208-meter long trail and a 24-meter health trail, allowing the public to exercise and walk, promoting physical health. The park is richly landscaped with flowering plants and greenery, including Casuarina equisetifolia, Terminalia catappa, Cinnamomum camphora, Delonix regia, Terminalia catappa, and azaleas, creating a beautiful landscape that provides leisure and recreational space for local residents and tourists. It is also a great place for family leisure activities. The Erwu Lian Water Gate Park has a lush array of flora for beautification, and features a pavilion.
