Dafu Sea View Sunrise Platform Introduction
The Dafu Observation Deck for Sunrise at Zhuangwei is a new attraction located in Dafu Village, Zhuangwei Township, Yilan County, near the coastline and adjacent to the Yilan Coastal Bike Path. It offers a view of the magnificent Turtle Island and is one of the best spots to experience the first light over Turtle Island, recognized as one of the Eight Scenic Views of Lanyang. The Yilan Coastal Bike Path stretches approximately 12 kilometers, and the northern section, in comparison to the southern segment, lacks sufficient rest areas. To benefit cycling tourists, this platform has been established for visitors to take a break while enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery. The design concept of the platform is inspired by the shapes of "nets," "waves," and "boats." It utilizes the local dune topography and incorporates memories of winter eel catching and summer beach netting. The name "Dafu" is used to create a three-dimensional landmark frame, complete with a fixed swing seat, allowing visitors to capture beautiful moments and memories with Turtle Island and the seascape, creating a unique highlight for social media. Along the way, visitors can also explore attractions such as Yongzhen Coastal Recreation Area, Zhuangwei Dune Ecological Park, and Donggang Banyan Tree Park. Additionally, there are diverse accommodation options in Zhuangwei and Jiaoxi, making it a great opportunity to experience the tranquility and relaxation of the Yilan coast.
