Dafu Seaview Sunrise Platform Introduction
The Dafeng Seaview Sunrise Platform (Sand Dune Bicycle Path Viewing Platform), located in Dafeng Village along the coastline of Zhuo Nai Township in Yilan County, is adjacent to the Yilan Coastal Bicycle Path. It is backed by lush natural forest and faces the magnificent sea view of Guishan Island, making it one of the best viewing spots for the famous Lanyang Eight Scenic Views—Guishan Sunrise. The Yilan Coastal Bicycle Path spans approximately 12 kilometers, and since the northern section lacks resting spots compared to the southern section, this platform was added to benefit cyclists, allowing them to take a break while enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery. The platform's design concept draws inspiration from the shape of a "net," the form of "waves," and the image of a "sampan platform," utilizing the local sand dune terrain.
