Linmei Shipan Trail Introduction
The Linmei Stone Pan Trail, located in Linmei Village, Jiaoxi Township, is a loop trail named after "Linmei" and "Stone Pan." "Linmei" refers to the local village name (Linmei Village, Jiaoxi Township), and the area's earlier name was "Linwei," which was later changed to "Linmei." "Stone Pan" refers to the "Stone Pan Waterfall." The trail stretches for 1.7 kilometers and features ravines, streams, waterfalls, stone pans, and primitive forests with a variety of sceneries and rich ecology along the route. This trail offers abundant ecological variety, with gentle slopes suitable for enjoying the water and viewing waterfalls. Along the way, the mountains are covered with mountain bamboo and Penstemons. Spectacular waterfalls and small pools are scattered throughout, providing a delightful natural landscape. There are viewing platforms along the trail where visitors can rest and gaze upon the entire Lanyang Plain, enjoying the stunning views.
