Coastal Cycling Path Introduction

The Northern Coastal Bicycle Path, also known as the Yilan Coastal Bicycle Northern Line, starts from Donggang Banyan Park and heads north, passing through Yongzhen Coastal Park to Zhuan'an River Estuary, with a total length of approximately 14 kilometers. It is not only suitable for cycling but also great for hiking along the bike path to enjoy the stunning scenery. Along the bike path, there are two scenic pavilions where visitors can rest and appreciate the coastal views. The sides of the path are planted with white Michelia, Taiwan Lily, and Sea Hibiscus, which bloom from late summer to early autumn. Under the sea breeze, the white flowers sway, making it particularly pleasant to ride a bike while enjoying the flowers. There are also several small paths leading to the beach, where you can listen to the sound of the waves while admiring coastal plants, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the unique views of coastline such as Guishan Island. However, the bicycle supply station is a short distance from the path, so it's recommended to prepare supplies before setting off for a coastal bike trip.
