Coastal Bicycle Path Introduction

The North Coast Bicycle Path, also known as the Yilan Coastal Bicycle Northern Line, starts from Donggang Banyan Tree Park and heads north, passing through Yongzhen Seaside Park to Zhuan'an River Estuary, with a total length of about 14 kilometers. It is suitable not only for cycling but also for hiking along the bicycle path to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. There are two scenic pavilion areas along the path where visitors can rest and admire the coastal views of the area. On both sides of the path, plants such as white day lilies, Taiwan wild lilies, and beach morning glories are planted. Late summer and early autumn is the blooming season for day lilies and wild lilies, and under the sea breeze, the white flowers sway, making it particularly enjoyable to cycle and appreciate the flowers at the same time. Along the way, there are also many small paths leading to the beach, where you can enjoy the sound of the waves while appreciating coastal plants, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the special beauty of the coastline with Turtle Island in the distance. However, the bicycle supply station is a short distance from the path, so it is recommended to prepare your supplies before heading out for a coastal cycling trip.
