Coastal Bicycle Path Introduction

The North Coast Bicycle Path, also known as the Yilan Coastal Bicycle North Line, starts from Donggang Banyan Park and runs north to Zhuan'an River Estuary, covering a distance of approximately 14 kilometers. It is not only suitable for cycling but also great for hiking along the bike path to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Along the bicycle path, there are two scenic gazebo areas for visitors to rest and appreciate the coastal views. On both sides of the path, white spider lilies, Taiwan lilies, and sea grape plants are planted. From late summer to early autumn, it is the blooming season for spider lilies and Taiwan lilies. With the sea breeze, the white flowers sway, making it exceptionally delightful to cycle while enjoying the flowers. There are also several small paths leading to the beach where you can enjoy the sound of the waves, admire coastal vegetation, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the unique scenic beauty of Guishan Island in the distance. However, the bicycle supply station is a short distance from the path, so it is recommended to prepare supplies before setting out for a coastal bike trip.
