Changpi Lake Scenic Area Introduction
Located in the Sanxing Township, the Changpi Lake Scenic Area, formerly known as Jioucyung Lake, sits at an elevation of approximately 200 meters and was a key military horse ground during the Japanese colonial period. Traveling along Provincial Highway 7, it is a must-pass route to attractions such as Qing Shui Geothermal Park, Qilan, Mingchi, and Taiping Mountain. Many visitors are often captivated by the verdant scenery of Changpi Lake, making it a popular stopover. After careful planning, the Changpi Lake Scenic Area now features activity zones, resort accommodations, campfire BBQ areas, a swimming area, and a lakeside walking trail, particularly favored by families for vacations, allowing children to play freely in the picturesque surroundings of the mountains.
