Meihua Lake Scenic Area Introduction
Meihua Lake Scenic Area is located in Dongshan Township, Yilan County, just a short ten-minute drive from Luodong Railway Station, making transportation very convenient. The entrance to the scenic area is at No. 1 Dapi Road, with well-developed road and public transport routes, suitable for both bus rides and driving. This lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides, originally named "Dapi," and is one of the "Eighteen Scenic Spots of Lanyang," specifically known as "Autumn Moon over the Mirror Lake." Later, due to the lake's shape resembling a five-petal plum blossom, it was renamed "Meihua Lake" by former President Chiang Ching-kuo.
