Anong River Bicycle Path Introduction

The Anong River Cycling Path is located in Sanxing Township, Yilan County, and runs along the northern embankment of the Anong River. It begins at the water source bridge near the upper stream of the Anong River and ends at the flood control weir next to the Waya Waya Bridge downstream, with a total length of approximately 15 kilometers. The terrain along the path is flat, with very few slopes, making it ideal for cycling, especially suitable for family outings. The scenery on both sides of the path is beautiful, showcasing picturesque rural scenes such as rice fields and silver willow fields. The south side of the starting point, the water source bridge, is known for its production of Shangsuan pears, and visitors can also visit attractions like the Green Onion Cultural Museum, Zhang Park Water Park, and the unique Spring Ecological Park. There are opportunities to experience activities such as boating on the Anong River, the Green Onion and Garlic Festival, and the Silver Willow Festival, providing a rich and fulfilling recreational experience. There are many cycling paths within Yilan County for tourists to enjoy, and visitors can plan their own itineraries to maximize their cycling experience.
