Anong River Bicycle Path Introduction
Anong River Bicycle Path is located in Sanxing Township, Yilan County, and is a bicycle path set along the northern embankment of the Anong River. The starting point is near the Shuiyuan Bridge at the upper reaches of the Anong River, and the endpoint is next to the flood control weir by the Waya Waya Bridge at the lower reaches of the Anong River, with a total length of about 15 kilometers. The terrain is flat with very few slopes, making it very easy to ride, and it is ideal for family outings to cycle together. The scenery along both sides of the path is beautiful, showcasing picturesque rural landscapes such as rice fields and silver willow fields. The southern side of the starting point, Shuiyuan Bridge, is known for being a production area for pears, and visitors can also explore attractions like the Green Onion Cultural Museum, Zhang Park Riverside Park, and the unique Spring Ecological Park. Additionally, there are activities such as Anong River rafting, the Scallion and Garlic Festival, and the Silver Willow Festival, allowing for a rich and fulfilling recreational experience.
