Anong River Bike Path Introduction

The Anong River Cycling Path is located in Sanxing Township, Yilan County, and is set along the northern embankment of the Anong River. It starts at the Shuijiang Bridge near the upstream of the Anong River and ends at the floodgate next to the Waiwai Bridge downstream, with a total length of approximately 15 kilometers. The path is mostly flat with very few inclines, making it very bike-friendly and particularly suitable for family outings. The scenery along the cycling path is beautiful, featuring rice fields and scenic landscapes including silver willow fields. On the south side of the starting point at Shuijiang Bridge, you can also visit the production area of the Shangjiang pear, the Green Onion Cultural Center, Zhang Park Waterside Park, and the unique Spring Water Ecological Park. Additionally, visitors can participate in activities such as Anong River rafting, the Green Onion and Garlic Festival, and the Silver Willow Festival, offering a rich and fulfilling recreational experience. There are many other cycling paths in Yilan County for visitors to explore at their own pace. However, it is important to note that the Anong River Cycling Path does not provide bicycle rental services. It is advisable to rent a bike beforehand before heading to the Anong River Cycling Path to fully enjoy a rewarding day.
