Herb Garden and Fragrance Museum Introduction
"Herb Fifi" is located in the Hengshantou Leisure Agricultural Zone, Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, adjacent to Sun Lake. The base covers an area of 3,025 ping (approximately 10,014 square meters), with an indoor space of 1,600 ping (approximately 5,303 square meters). It is established by the Sun Lake Cultural and Educational Foundation to promote the cultural characteristics of Yilan and engage in cultural and creative industries, established in 2008 and completed in January 2012, officially opening on March 1, 2012. The park is co-operated with Xiangfei Life Enterprise Co., Ltd., providing exhibitions, experiences, dining, merchandise, and public services, making it a multifaceted space that integrates intellectual, cultural, educational, and leisure experiences. "Herb Fifi" is the first aromatic plant experience hall in the country themed around "fragrance," introducing various natural and cultural knowledge related to scents. Wandering in the natural space of Herb Fifi, each aromatic plant, shrub, and tree can be seen, touched, and smelled. Visitors can also enjoy unique thematic specialty meals under the osmanthus trees and appreciate the natural beauty of Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island amidst the scenic landscape and gentle hills by Sun Lake. This building, playfully referred to by locals as the "White House of Yilan," is a pure white structure built with steel, glass, and wood. The large glass panels allow the outdoor natural scenery to become part of the interior decor. The spacious indoor area is surrounded by greenery, ensuring that the air is not only fresh but also carries seasonal floral scents, whether osmanthus or wild ginger flowers, providing a stage for showcasing the fragrances of every season.
