Herb and Fragrance Museum Introduction
"Herb Fifi" is located in the Hengshantou Leisure Agricultural Area of Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, adjacent to Sun Lake. The site covers an area of 3,025 ping, with an indoor space of 1,600 ping. It is operated by the Sun Lake Cultural and Educational Foundation, which aims to promote the cultural characteristics of Yilan and engage in cultural and creative industries. It was established in 2008 and officially opened for business on March 1, 2012, after completing construction in January 2012. The park is jointly operated with Xiangfei Life Business Co., Ltd., providing exhibitions, experiences, dining, products, and public services, making it a multifaceted space that integrates intellect, culture, education, and leisure. "Herb Fifi" is the first aromatic plant experience hall in the country themed around "fragrance," introducing various natural and cultural knowledge related to scents. Wandering in the natural space of Herb Fifi, every aromatic plant, shrub, and tree can be seen, heard, and approached. Visitors can also enjoy uniquely creative themed dishes under the osmanthus tree and take in the stunning natural scenery of the Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island amidst the scenic backdrop of Sun Lake and rolling hills. This building, humorously nicknamed the "White House of Yilan" by locals, is a pure white construction made of steel, glass, and wood. Through large glass panels, the outdoor natural scenery becomes part of the decor of Herb Fifi, while the spacious indoor environment is surrounded by greenery, ensuring that the air is not only fresh but also filled with seasonal floral scents, be it osmanthus or wild ginger flowers. Herb Fifi provides a stage for the fragrances of each season to be showcased.
