Herbalife Aroma Plant Museum Introduction
"Fragrant Herbs" is located in the Hengshantou Leisure Agricultural Area of Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, adjacent to the shores of Sun Lake. The facility covers an area of 3,025 ping with an indoor space of 1,600 ping. It is operated by the Sun Lake Cultural Foundation to showcase the cultural characteristics of Yilan and promote cultural education, engaging in the cultural and creative industries. Established in 2008 and completed in January 2012, it officially opened to the public on March 1 of that year. The park is co-managed with Xiangfei Life Business Co., Ltd., offering a variety of experiences including exhibitions, hands-on activities, dining, merchandise, and public services, making it a diverse space that combines intellect, culture, education, and leisure. "Fragrant Herbs" is the first aromatic plant experience museum in Taiwan that focuses on the theme of "fragrance," introducing various natural and cultural knowledge related to scents. Wandering through the natural space of Fragrant Herbs, visitors can see and get close to various aromatic plants, shrubs, and trees. One can also savor uniquely creative themed dishes under the osmanthus tree, while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island amidst the hills and the picturesque Sun Lake. This building, affectionately nicknamed the "White Palace of Yilan" by locals, is a pure white structure made of steel, glass, and wood. Large glass windows allow the outdoor scenery to become part of the decor of Fragrant Herbs. The spacious interior, surrounded by greenery, provides not only fresh air but also carries the scents of seasonal flowers, whether it's osmanthus or wild ginger flowers, making Fragrant Herbs a stage for showcasing the fragrances of every season.
