The Xiaowulai Sky Walk is located in the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City, suspended above the Xiaowulai Waterfall. To fulfill the dream of tourists walking in the clouds, the Taoyuan City Government invested NT$8 million to create this sky walk, which was later voted as the most romantic spot in Taiwan. The appearance of the sky walk features a minimalist design with geometric lines, and the structure is made of reinforced glass. It extends outwards as a corridor of 11 meters, allowing visitors standing on the glass platform 70 meters above the base of the waterfall to enjoy the stunning views of the Xiaowulai Gorge and the majestic waterfall, challenging the limits of a 360-degree perspective. The rock next to the Xiaowulai Sky Walk, known as the "Wind-Driven Stone," has a support area of only 0.5 square meters, resembling a precarious balance, yet it remains motionless in the wind, showcasing the wonders of nature. However, in July 2013, the Wind-Driven Stone succumbed to the impact of Typhoon Soulik and rolled down to the riverbed. Standing on the transparent sky walk, visitors can fully experience the thrill of having the waterfall and abyss beneath their feet while pushing the limits of their visual perception.
