Xikou Plateau Introduction
The Xikou Terrace is a triangular terrace formed by a large bend in the Dahan River as it flows past the southern side of Jiao Ban Mountain in the Fuxing District. It consists of four levels; the upper two levels are terraced fields, while the lower two are lawns. The third level also features a small park, making it an excellent outdoor scene for geography education. From Jiao Ban Mountain, visitors can enjoy the view from the Siqin Pavilion, or they can descend the stone steps below Jiao Ban Mountain Park and cross the Xikou Suspension Bridge to reach the terrace. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a long and elegant suspension bridge that has been around for over forty years. From the center of the bridge, one can admire the beautiful scenery of the Dahan River Valley and the ample water storage of the reservoir.
