Xikou Terrace Introduction
Xikou Terrace is a triangular terrace formed by a major bend in the Dahan River as it flows past the southern side of Jiao Ban Mountain in the Fuxing District. It consists of four levels, with the upper two levels serving as terraced fields and the lower two levels as lawns. The third level also features a small park, making it an ideal outdoor setting for geography education. The terrace can be viewed from the Sìqīntíng (Siqin Pavilion) on Jiao Ban Mountain or accessed via the stone steps below Jiao Ban Mountain Park, crossing the Xikou Suspension Bridge. The Xikou Suspension Bridge, which is quite long and elegant, has a history of over forty years. From the center of the bridge, one can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dahan River valley and the ample water storage of the reservoir.
