Xi Kou Plateau Introduction
Xikou Terrace is a triangular terrace formed by the Dahan River making a significant bend while flowing through the southern side of Jiao Mountain in the Fuxing District. It has four levels, with the upper two levels being terraced fields and the lower two being lawns. The third level features a small park, making it an ideal outdoor setting for geographical education. From Jiao Mountain, one can gaze at the terrace from the Siqing Pavilion, or descend from below Jiao Mountain Park via stone steps and cross the Xikou Suspension Bridge to reach the terrace. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a slender and elegant suspension bridge with a history of over forty years, and from the center of the bridge, one can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dahan River valley and the ample water storage of the reservoir.
