Xikou Terrace Introduction
The Xikou Terrace is a triangular terrace formed by a sharp bend in the Dahan River as it flows through the Fuxing District, south of Jiao Pan Mountain. It consists of four levels: the upper two levels are terraced fields, while the lower two levels are lawns. The third level also features a small park, making it an ideal outdoor setting for geography teaching. From Jiao Pan Mountain, you can overlook the terrace at the Sih Ch’in Pavilion, or you can access it by descending the stone steps from Jiao Pan Mountain Park and crossing the Xikou Suspension Bridge. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a long and elegant suspension bridge with a history of over forty years, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dahan River Valley and the abundant water resources of the reservoir.
