Xikou Plateau Introduction
The Xikou Terrace is a triangular terrace formed by a sharp bend of the Dahan River as it flows past the southern side of Jiao Ban Mountain in the Fuxing District. It consists of four levels, with the upper two levels being terraced fields and the lower two levels being lawns. The third level also features a small park, making it an ideal outdoor scene for geographical teaching. From Jiao Ban Mountain, you can overlook the area from the Siqin Pavilion or descend from the stone steps below Jiao Ban Mountain Park. Crossing the Xikou Suspension Bridge will also lead you to the terrace. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a long and elegant suspension bridge that has been standing for over forty years, and from its center, one can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dahan River Valley and the abundant water storage of the reservoir.
