Xikou Tribe Introduction

The winding landscape closely resembles that of the hometown of Chiang Kai-shek, Xikou Town in Fenghua County, Zhejiang Province, and thus, he named it Xikou, considering it his second hometown. This "Presidential Tribe" in the mountains features Upper Xikou and Lower Xikou, with the latter located 150 meters below Romani Highway. The giant yellow vine bamboo basket at the entrance is a common item used by women in the tribe for carrying goods. While strolling through the village, you can see traditional structures such as watchtowers, granaries, and a Catholic church, and even learn to be a one-day hunter! From designing traps and observing animal behaviors, to successfully hitting targets with arrows and enjoying a delicious meal, you'll experience an incredible sense of accomplishment! The new Xikou Suspension Bridge, replacing the old one, is 303 meters long and offers breathtaking views of the Dahan River surrounded by mountains, making it undoubtedly unforgettable.
