The Northern Cross-Island Highway is built along the Dahan Creek valley, featuring several architecturally striking bridges at the confluence of the valleys, namely the Luofu Bridge, Fuxing Bridge, and Balin Bridge, collectively known as the Three Bridges of the Northern Cross-Island Highway. The Luofu Bridge, designed with an arch-shaped pier and adorned in vibrant red, offers travelers a unique visual experience along the highway. The Luofu Bridge is a 230-meter long arch iron bridge, surrounded by pedestrian walking areas and viewing platforms that allow visitors to admire the stunning landscapes from above. It provides opportunities for stopping to take in the scenery and photography, especially on beautiful sunny days when the reflection of the red Luofu Bridge complements the nearby lush green mountains and waters, attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture stunning images.
