Chef Lin, as a no-menu chef, is dedicated to developing the flavors of Zhuwei Fishing Port, hoping that each meal becomes a beautiful memory. Chef Lin mentioned that many people think the name of his restaurant is "Shanben," assuming it is a Japanese cuisine restaurant, but in fact, it is a tribute to a Japanese chef who once taught him. Besides Japanese cuisine, he offers a wide variety of dishes, including Hakka cuisine, Minnan cuisine, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang cuisine. He constantly improves and innovates to meet customer expectations, whether it’s braised sea cucumber or steamed lobster, sliced black tuna, or stir-fried kidney with sesame oil, Chef Lin can create dishes that are visually appealing and flavorful. "It's all based on trust; many regular customers hardly order, they usually mention a price range and let me have free rein. What I can offer in return is insisting on fresh ingredients, being attentive, and continuously innovating to provide genuine delicacies," Chef Lin, who is about to enter his 28th year as a chef, said emotionally and with gratitude.
