Shanben Seafood Restaurant Introduction
Recommended dishes from the 2016 Certified Restaurant of the Haike City: Pan-seared Taiwanese Abalone, Eight-Treasure Crispy Balls, Steamed Fresh Fish with Fermented Black Beans, Stir-fried Squid with Preserved Vegetable. Chef Lin, as a no-menu chef, is dedicated to developing the flavors unique to Zhuwei Fishing Port, hoping each meal becomes a wonderful memory. Chef Lin mentioned that many people mistakenly believe that my restaurant, called Shanben, is a Japanese cuisine establishment; in fact, it commemorates a Japanese chef who once taught me. Besides Japanese cuisine, I also create a wide variety of dishes, including Hakka, Min Nan, and Jiang-Zhe cuisines. Committed to innovation and meeting customers' expectations, whether it's stir-fried sea cucumber or steamed crayfish, sliced black tuna, or stir-fried kidney with sesame oil, Chef Lin can create dishes with appealing taste, aroma, and appearance. "Based solely on trust, many regular customers almost never order; after discussing a price range, they let me create freely. What I can provide is a commitment to fresh ingredients, dedication, and continuous innovation, delivering genuine delicacies," Chef Lin shared with emotion and gratitude as he approaches his 28th year as a chef.
