2016 Certified Restaurant of the City of Haikou recommended dishes: Pan-fried Taiwanese abalone, Eight Treasures Crispy Meatballs, Steamed Fresh Fish with Fermented Black Bean, Stir-fried Squid with Preserved Mustard Greens. As a chef specializing in omakase, Chef Lin is dedicated to developing the flavors unique to Zhuwei Fishing Port, hoping that each meal becomes a cherished memory. Chef Lin mentioned that many people mistakenly believe my restaurant's name "Shanben" indicates that it is a Japanese cuisine restaurant; actually, it is named in honor of a Japanese chef who once taught me. Beyond Japanese cuisine, I can prepare a wide variety of dishes, including Hakka cuisine, Minnan cuisine, Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine. Committed to innovation and exceeding customer expectations, whether it’s sautéed sea cucumber or steamed small lobster, sliced black tuna or stir-fried kidneys with sesame oil, Chef Lin can create dishes that are delightful in taste and presentation. "Based solely on a piece of trust, many regular customers almost do not order; after discussing a price range, they allow me to take creative liberties.
