Hsingren Night Market Introduction
Xingren Night Market is located in the Bade redevelopment area of Taoyuan City. It is a new night market covering an area of 6,000 ping, with 600 stalls, making it one of the largest night markets in northern Taiwan. It opens four days a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The most distinctive feature is the division of the spacious area into two main sections: the Food Paradise and the Happy Kingdom. One area gathers affordable local delicacies from across Taiwan, while the other combines entertainment and shopping, creating a fun food haven suitable for both children and adults. The facilities at Xingren Night Market are well-planned, with a unique division of two main types according to consumer preferences: "Food Stalls" and "Entertainment and Shopping." This allows visitors to enjoy a full meal in the food area before heading to the Happy Kingdom for endless fun, meeting the diverse needs of the whole family. In the "Food Paradise" area, a wide variety of options is available, including mountain products, seafood, cold drinks, treats, and international cuisine. Some of the must-try items include the giant fried squid larger than a face, wood-fired pizza baked with longan wood, renowned stinky tofu and stir-fried squid, aromatic rice desserts, creatively-sized steaks that fit in your pocket but are satisfying, and marinated dishes prepared by former high-end hotel chefs. These are all signature specialties of Xingren Night Market that you shouldn't miss. In the "Happy Kingdom" area, there is an abundance of entertainment and shopping options, perfect for family fun. Activities like ring toss, Mahjong bingo, Texas poker, bounce houses, powered jumping, carousels, mini trains, and pirate ships provide endless enjoyment for kids and adults alike, making this area a paradise of joy in Xingren Night Market. Originally, Xingren Night Market was located behind the Neili Railway Station but was relocated to its current site due to unsuitability. The former site was the Sunflower Night Market. The new night market covers an area equivalent to three soccer fields and attracted 20,000 visitors upon opening, creating tremendous popularity. Additionally, the night market is situated in a redevelopment area near an interchange, enjoying the dual advantages of transportation convenience and diverse food offerings. Although it later closed for a month due to Typhoon Morakot, it was rebuilt using reinforced concrete for sturdiness and safety. With its high ceiling design and lighting facilities, the night market is now brighter and more spacious. A visitor service center is located at the entrance, and public restrooms are available in both zones A and B. Trash bins are strategically placed at various corners of the market to enhance cleanliness and aesthetics. Moreover, multiple exits are available in the night market, and the smooth flow of the layout effectively disperses crowds. A large parking lot of 500 ping is also available, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy the experience of eating while shopping, creating a highly convenient and relaxed shopping environment.
