Alishan Ecological Education Center Introduction
To promote the concept of natural conservation and to allow visitors to learn about the natural ecology of Alishan, the Chiayi branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Administration has repurposed the old Alishan work station and other old buildings into the Alishan Ecological Education Center, Forest Era | Forestry Story Museum, and A-lí-san | Mountain Wild Creation Museum. The buildings are located within the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, and the exhibits include information on the Tsou tribe and alpine plants, forestry history, mountain forestry culture, as well as literature and art, guiding visitors to rediscover the multiple aspects of Alishan in the relationship between humans and nature.
