Dapochih Introduction
Dapo Pond, originally named "Dapu" and also known as "Dapei," is an inland freshwater marshland that was once listed as one of Taitung's top ten scenic spots for "fishing at the pond." Due to its favorable natural environment, it is rich in ecological resources, including a variety of flora and fauna. During the summer, visitors can enjoy the sight of blooming pink lotus flowers all over the pond. The area is equipped with walking and biking trails around the lake, making Dapo Pond a beautifully scenic and relaxing place ideal for leisure activities, and a must-visit spot in Taitung for cycling and unwinding.
