The Chulai Bridge is located in Haiduan Township and spans the Xinwulu River, serving as an important connection for the Taiwan Highway 20 Southern Cross-Island Highway to Chishang Township. It enhances local transportation convenience and links the travel routes between the Hualien-Taitung Valley and the Southern Cross Mountains.
