Banchiao Broadcasting Station Introduction
The full name of Banqiao Broadcasting Station is Taipei Broadcasting Bureau Banqiao Broadcasting Station. It is located near the Xinban Special District and was one of the five major broadcasting facilities in Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period. The New Taipei City Cultural Bureau designated this site as a historic site in New Taipei City and carried out restoration work. The outdoor park opened in June 2019, and the restoration of the historic structure was completed in 2022. Covering over a thousand ping, Banqiao Broadcasting Station, after greening works, provides a large recreational green space for the densely populated Banqiao area.
