The New Taipei City Government, located in Banqiao District, is a 33-story building that stands out prominently in the Xinzhan Special District. Taking advantage of its height, the city government has set up a free observation deck on the 32nd floor, offering a wide view that rivals Taipei 101. Visitors can take the exclusive elevators number 18 and 19 directly to the free observation deck on the 32nd floor. From the lobby on the first floor, taking the elevator to the top floor, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view through 360-degree glass windows. This allows for a clear view of several major constructions in Banqiao, including the Municipal Sports Center and the Banqiao San-Tai Joint Station, as well as Taipei 101 and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi skyscraper! On clear days, it's also possible to see the Tamsui River and Yangmingshan in the distance.
