To promote the authentic cuisine of Penghu, this couple established Hong Yu Food with a unique insight and commitment to seafood. They insist on not adding chemical flavorings to preserve the traditional flavors of Penghu and to promote fresh, authentic Penghu cuisine. In order to protect consumer rights, Hong Yu has continually raised high standards for quality and management. Starting in 2006, they planned to establish a qualified food factory (Factory One) based on the needs of consumers, aiming for a systematic factory management approach to produce high-quality products that meet food hygiene and safety standards, making “Hong Yu” synonymous with reliability and care for the long term. Due to the deliciousness of the products, their genuine ingredients, and a constant focus on improving food safety and hygiene standards, Hong Yu's products have gained great popularity among consumers, resulting in a significant increase in sales. The factory (Qianfu Wei Factory One) gradually reached production saturation. Therefore, in 2013, Hong Yu proposed a plan to build a new high-standard factory combined with a marine education tourist factory, which officially opened in the 108th year of the Republic of China. The factory area has fully passed ISO22000 and HACCP international certifications. The Hong Yu Museum of Cuttlefish Ball is the first tourist factory in Taiwan with cuttlefish balls as the main theme. It is located in the Cianjhen Fishing Port of Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City. Inside the museum, it combines expertise in cuttlefish, marine education, Penghu-style snacks, DIY cuttlefish ball making, automated cuttlefish ball production lines, and a seafood market. It is Taiwan's most abundant and professional squid world, providing consumers with the best place for shopping, dining, visiting, and experiencing.
