Hung Yu Food Co., Ltd. was founded in 1994. The owners, Lin Hsi-Hung and his wife, are locals from Penghu. To promote the authentic cuisine of Penghu, the couple decided to work together and come to Taiwan 25 years ago, choosing Kaohsiung, a port city, to set down roots. They started selling Penghu squid balls at a small stall in the Cathay Market in Gushan District. Through continuous effort, they successfully established the Hung Yu brand. In recent years, due to saturated production capacity and insufficient space, they planned and invested in building a high-standard food factory that integrates modern production processes and complies with various food safety regulations five years ago. This factory also serves as Taiwan's first squid ball tourist factory, combining production with the tourism industry, using systematic factory management and modern German-imported equipment for production. The theme of the tourist factory is ocean-themed; stepping through the entrance feels like being in an underwater world, and visitors can observe the squid ball production process. There are also various DIY activities for parents and children, including ready-to-eat food and crafts, promoting environmental and ocean education and introducing structural knowledge. Additionally, the factory maintains a large amount of green landscaping, scenic sponsorship, and wastewater recycling, fully implementing the concept of "education through entertainment." Hong Yu Seafood Balls Museum Introduction

In addition to having the first automated production line for squid balls in Taiwan, it features a specialty snack area, a Penghu-style seafood market, a multimedia parent-child gaming area, a DIY classroom for parents and children, and an industry knowledge zone. Besides enjoying delicious and fresh squid balls, visitors can understand the complete production process and the insistence on quality ingredients. Additionally, they can learn rich marine education knowledge. Everything is available: eating, drinking, playing, and having fun. With systematic factory management and modern machinery, the facility has obtained both ISO 22000 and HACCP food safety certifications, producing high-quality products that meet food hygiene and safety standards. We welcome adults to bring their children to the Squid Ball Museum to experience the fun and educational marine knowledge venue and enjoy an interesting feast of knowledge with the giant squid ball.

Remarks:Purchasing products at the store and dining at the Deep Sea Burger restaurant do not require a ticket.
