Tiger Jingyu Tropic of Cancer Sunset Avenue Introduction
The Tropic of Cancer passes through three counties in Taiwan and four national scenic areas, with Penghu County being one of the counties through which the Tropic of Cancer crosses, and it is located on the extreme western side of Taiwan. The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration has established two symbolic designs on site, completing the landscape image of the Sun Pursuit Boulevard in 2016. The boulevard is approximately 55 meters long and 4 meters wide, with the trail decorated with colorful stone reliefs representing each country's unique cultural customs, as well as maps and flags of the 16 countries through which the Tropic of Cancer passes. The double-hand symbol at the end of the trail adjusts to the angle of sunlight according to the seasons, with the sunset position located due west during the vernal and autumnal equinoxes, shifting to the far north during the summer solstice and to the far south during the winter solstice, creating a dynamic scenic view with changes in sunlight.
