Xiao Tian Xiang Introduction
Walking along the Dongfu Highway at the southern tip of Provincial Highway 23 in Hualien, you can see the rare terraced fields of Taiwan. The Dongfu Highway is winding and narrow, with steep cliffs on one side and a deep valley on the other. Passing through the man-made tunnel called Shimen, the scenery seems as steep as Taroko Gorge, earning it the nickname "Little Tianxiang," attracting travelers to drive there for exploration and sightseeing.
