Fulong Visitor Center Introduction

Adjacent to Fulong Beach, the conspicuous red-tiled white-walled building is the Fulong Visitor Center. It would be a pity to merely pass by or just pick up brochures, as this place not only offers travel consultations but also serves as a vibrant venue for art and cultural exhibitions. The visitor center provides a display and interpretation of various information about the natural ecology, historical sites, and tourist attractions of the Northeast Coast. There is a well-planned variety of exhibition areas. The experience zone features many interactive installations, and virtual reality allows visitors to explore the Northeast Coast in advance. Notably, the "Reclaimed Wood Sculpture Exhibition Hall" showcases works predominantly carved from precious woods such as red cypress and camphor, derived from native driftwood species that were swept to the Northeast Coast by typhoons. After collecting the driftwood, the management commissioned master carvers from Sanyi to create sculptures, giving new life and artistic value to the driftwood, while faithfully reflecting the spirit of natural environmental regeneration. This combines tourism and art, creating a unique cultural tourism asset for the Northeast Coast. The area around the visitor center and station also has many shops offering bicycle rentals, making it enjoyable and easy to take a bike ride whenever the weather is good throughout the year. When visiting Fulong, don’t forget to step into the visitor center to enrich your journey with knowledge!
