Miaoli County Atayal Indigenous Cultural Industry Area Introduction
In order to actively preserve and promote Atayal culture, the county has specially planned the establishment of the "Atayal Indigenous Cultural Industry Park." The park covers an area of approximately 1.67 hectares and combines the tourism resources of the Tai'an Hot Spring Area with Atayal culture, setting up a cultural museum, parking lots, and a hot spring experience area. The Atayal Cultural Museum showcases the distribution and migration of tribes in Tai'an Township, introduces local Atayal cultural rituals and festivals along with photographs, and displays artifacts such as wooden carvings, rattan craft utensils, woven garments, and mouth harps. It also features a nighttime forest experience area and a traditional bamboo house living area, allowing visitors to participate in immersive experiences. With lively and vivid guided explanations, it aims to enhance the national education about ethnic knowledge and broaden ethnic perspectives. In addition to static displays, the outdoor area also includes a hot spring experience area, weekend cultural performances, and a vendor area, allowing visitors to enjoy indigenous songs, dances, and tribal cuisine. It is hoped that effective management will promote the development of indigenous cultural tourism, pass down Atayal traditional culture, and showcase the rich cultural elements and tourism resources of indigenous peoples, providing recreation for tourists and driving the development of the hometown tourism industry. 【Ticket Prices】 ● Regular ticket: NT$50 ● Group ticket (20 people or more): NT$30 ● Discounted ticket (county residents): NT$20 ● Free admission: 1.
