Qinghai Temple Introduction

The Qingshui Palace in Haulien, located a hundred feet from the sea, is nestled between the mountains and the ocean. The statue of Mazu is the tallest in Taiwan, reaching 32.2 meters. With the blue sea and sky combined with green mountain scenery, occasionally a coastal train passes by, creating the illusion of Mazu on a train tour protecting the country and its people, which is both entertaining and carries a sense of peace! Qingshui Palace has a history of 45 years, facing the Taiwan Strait, in an area with sparse population, and venerates the Heavenly Mother as the main deity. It is said that the statue arrived by drifting ashore, and due to the deity's significance, it has a thriving incense culture.
