Qinghai Temple Introduction

Located a hundred feet from the sea, the Houlong Qinghai Temple is nestled between the mountains and the sea. The statue of Mazu is the tallest in Taiwan, reaching 32.2 meters. With the blue sea and sky combined with the green mountains, and occasionally the coastal train passing by, it creates a scene as if Mazu is taking a train tour to protect the country and its people, blending fun with a sense of peace! Qinghai Temple has a history of 45 years and faces the Taiwan Strait, with few people nearby. It enshrines the Heavenly Queen as the main deity, and it is said that the statue arrived after drifting ashore, leading to its prominent divine presence and great incense offerings.
