Golden Route - Miaoli Blowing Avenue Introduction

The more accurate name for this area is "Huanxiang Trail," also known locally as "Golden Route." Compared to Taitung's Bolang Avenue, this is considered a mini version. Along the winding road, there are lush green rice fields on both sides, and when you look up, you can see rolling low hills in the distance. Picturesque traditional farmhouses are scattered throughout the fields, creating a refreshing pastoral scenery. The most prominent landmark here is a苦煉樹 (bitter pear tree) standing by the fields, where many people choose to take photos. Underneath the tree, various rustic scenery is created with a water tank, brick kiln, and water spout, adding to the rural charm. If you have the chance, you can ride a bicycle along the Golden Route and enjoy the natural scenery at a slow pace, which guarantees a leisurely and relaxing bike trip!
