Lukang Sanheyuan Introduction
Lukang Civic Hall was originally the Wang Ye Temple of Wanchun Palace. In the third year of the Showa era (1928), it was renovated into a civic hall, and after World War II, it was renamed "Chungshan Hall," which once served as a senior citizen center.
The roof truss is made of wood frame combined with steel trusses, topped with concrete tiles, while the gable wall is constructed using a bamboo and clay technique. On the left wall, there is a wooden plaque titled "Lugang Guild Hall Inscription," written by the president of the "Li Society," Fu Hsi-chi, and calligraphed by the local gentry, Chuang Tai-yue. The text describes the construction history and the donation inscriptions from local gentry at that time, making it an important document. It is currently managed by the Lugang Township Office.
