Red Hair Well Introduction

Hongmao Well is located behind the former Zhongshan Hall of the Changhua Museum of Art. It has a history of approximately 300 years and is one of the few remaining Dutch ancient wells in central Taiwan. During the time when the Dutch occupied Taiwan, many missionaries and soldiers came to draw water for drinking, which is why the locals refer to this well as "Hongmao Well" or "Fan Zai Well."
