Red Hair Well Introduction
"Red Hair Well" is located behind the former Zhongshan Hall at the Changhua Museum of Art, and it has a history of approximately 300 years. It is one of the few remaining Dutch ancient wells in central Taiwan. During the time when the Dutch occupied Taiwan, many missionaries and soldiers came to draw water for drinking, which is why the locals refer to this well as "Red Hair Well" or "Foreign Well."
