Red Hair Well Introduction
The "Red-Haired Well" is located behind the former Zhongshan Hall of the Changhua Art Museum and has a history of about 300 years. It is one of the few remaining Dutch ancient wells in central Taiwan. When the Dutch occupied Taiwan, many missionaries and soldiers came to draw water for drinking, so the locals referred to this well as "Red-Haired Well" or "Barbarians' Well."
