Gengxin Plant Farm Introduction
Gengxin Plant Farm covers an area of approximately 0.7 hectares and is operated by a retired couple from the public sector. The farm primarily grows miracle fruit and jabuticaba. The miracle fruit trees in the park are quite large, with an age of about 9 years. Although the miracle fruit itself is not large, it has a magical effect that transforms taste; even the most sour fruits taste remarkably sweet when placed in the mouth. Currently, the farm is not only developing the existing miracle fruit enzyme but also offers herbal tea bags made from miracle fruit leaves, which, when brewed, have a taste reminiscent of petasites japonicus, sweet with a hint of bitterness. The farm owner mentions that drinking the herbal tea bags results in a wonderful sensation of salivation. Visitors to the farm can learn about the ecology of the miracle fruit and the process of enzyme production through explanations, and they can also experience the magic of the miracle fruit.
