The Unique Crocodile Ecological Farm is located in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County. In addition to observing different types of crocodiles, visitors can also see other charming animals such as goats, wild boars, turkeys, tortoises, peacocks, and Taiwanese turtles, providing a rich animal ecosystem for guests to learn about. The owner of the Unique Crocodile Ecological Farm initially ran a pig farm. To deal with the waste generated by the pigs, they began to research the meat-eating nature of crocodiles to solve the problem of pig waste, even traveling abroad to learn crocodile breeding techniques, which ultimately led them to the path of crocodile breeding. Crocodiles are animals of high economic value, and they also help eliminate environmental pollution caused by livestock farming. With a deep affection for crocodiles, the farm owner advocates for the protection of crocodile habitats and the sustainable use of the value that crocodiles provide, operating the Unique Crocodile Ecological Farm to raise awareness about the survival issues of wildlife. Key attractions of the farm include not only crocodiles and other animals but also various recreational facilities and activities for visitors to enjoy, such as the crocodile ecological exhibition hall, barbecue area, play area, garden-style karaoke, crocodile feeding, and playing with adorable animals. For those interested or brave enough to taste crocodile meat, the farm also offers unique crocodile dishes, providing a truly different culinary experience.
