Tianlong Suspension Bridge Introduction
The altitude here is about 721 meters, approximately 80 meters above the valley below. Walking on the narrow, swaying Tianlong Suspension Bridge while taking deep breaths, a unique and magnificent forest journey begins. Nature enthusiasts and thrill-seekers should not miss this! The breathtaking scenery all around is astounding; the bridge cables and the greenery on either side complement the rustic charm. The surrounding cliffs are etched with the red patterns of time due to the alkaline Mist Deer Hot Spring. Strolling gently on the Tianlong Suspension Bridge, you can overlook the deep blue and surging Xinwulu River below, along with the Mist Deer Gorge carved by the rushing water, showcasing the most primitive natural beauty in full view. The Tianlong Suspension Bridge is located at the starting point of the Tianlong Ancient Trail, behind the Tianlong Hot Spring Hotel, and also provides access to nearby attractions such as the Mist Deer Gorge, Lidao Village, Mist Deer Fortress Park, and Fish Protected Area, making it one of the most famous scenic spots along the southern section of the South Cross-Island Highway.
