Tianlong Ancient Trail Introduction
The Tianlong Ancient Trail starts at the Tianlong Suspension Bridge and is approximately 1.1 kilometers long. Before the Southern Cross-Island Highway was opened, the Tianlong Ancient Trail was the only access road for the residents of the Lidao and other villages. The canyon area where the Tianlong Ancient Trail is located features the "Taiwan Mountain Forest Prototype" canyon rock vegetation ecology, and along the trail, one can also see the native species of Taiwan, the Tianlong Two-leaf Pine. It is a historic trail rich in precious natural ecology and is one of the famous hiking paths in the Southern Cross-Island area.
