Tianlong Old Trail Introduction
The Tianlong Ancient Trail starts at the Tianlong Suspension Bridge and is approximately 1.1 kilometers long. Before the South Cross-Island Highway was opened, the Tianlong Ancient Trail was the only access road for the residents of the Lidao and other tribes. Even today, it remains the only alternative access road besides the South Cross-Island Highway. The canyon region where the Tianlong Ancient Trail is located is home to the "Taiwanese forest prototype" canyon rock vegetation ecology, and along the way, you can also see the endemic species of Taiwan, the Tianlong Two-leaf Pine. It is a trail filled with precious natural ecology and is one of the famous hiking paths in the South Cross-Island area.
