Taitung Airport Introduction

Taitung Airport, known as the "Garden Airport," has been recognized as the most beautiful airport in the country. The airport itself has significant tourism value, and in recent years, it has completed several landscape facilities. The outdoor area features a square with a fountain surrounded by a sea of flowers and a coffee leisure area. Additionally, on the southwestern side of the terminal building, a retired Taiwan Airlines Britten Norman Trislander B-11112 three-engine propeller passenger plane and an E-One P-150 Titan 4×4 fire truck, which previously served at Green Island Airport, are displayed for visitors to view and take photos.

Transportation Methods：By train: Take Taiwan Railway (Taiwan Railways Administration) to Taitung Station, then transfer to Dong Dong Bus Line 8128, Taiwan Tour Bus Eastern Coast Line, or the city bus (Puyuma Bus) Air-Land-Sea Express Line heading towards the airport and get off at Taitung Airport. By bus: 1. Take Hsing Tung Bus Line 8128 (towards the airport) and get off at Taitung Airport. 2. Take the city bus (Puyuma Bus) Air-Land-Sea Express Line and get off at Taitung Airport.
