Malang Station Introduction
The early Malan Station had a wooden station building before the eastern extension, but during the widening of the Eastern Line, it was rebuilt into the brick and cement station house seen today. Malan Station primarily focused on freight services, with the main sources of cargo being the CPC oil depot and Taitung Sugar Factory next to the station. However, with the closure of the sugar factory and CPC shifting to road transport, Malan Station ultimately faced closure.
