Fuyuan Scenic Area Introduction
Fuyuan Scenic Area is located on high ground and is a place to enjoy the scenery, offering a panoramic view of 360 degrees with an expansive outlook. The viewing platform consists of a wooden deck and a pavilion, where visitors can admire Dulan Mountain and have a clear view of the curved bay entrance of Dulan Bay. On clear days, it is even possible to see Green Island in the distance. On the other side of the viewing platform, unique geographical features such as the Piiwan River, Little Yellow Mountain, and the Liji Badlands can be seen, with houses scattered across the plains. Standing at this elevated point, you can take in the scenery of Taitung Plain and the East Coast, experiencing the insignificance of humanity against the vastness of nature. If you visit in autumn or winter, you may have the chance to see large birds of prey like the crested serpent eagle and the Japanese black kite soaring in the sky.
