Fuyuan Scenic Area Introduction
Fuyuan Scenic Area is located on a high ground and offers a place for viewing landscapes with a panoramic view of 360 degrees. The viewing platform consists of a wooden deck and a pavilion, allowing visitors to overlook Dulan Mountain, while the arc of Dulan Bay is clearly visible. On clear days, it is even possible to see Green Island in the distance. On the other side of the platform, unique geographical landscapes such as the Beinan River, Xiaohuang Mountain, and the Lijhi Badlands can be observed, with scattered houses positioned amidst the plains. Standing at this elevated point, one can take in the entire Taitung Plain and the East Coast scenery, feeling the insignificance of humanity in contrast to the vastness of nature. If you visit in autumn or winter, you may have the opportunity to see majestic birds of prey like the White-tailed Eagle and the Crested Serpent Eagle soaring in the sky.
