Fuyuan Observation Deck Introduction
Fuyuan Viewing Platform is located on a high ground and serves as a place to enjoy the scenery, providing a panoramic view of 360 degrees. The observation deck is composed of a wooden platform and a pavilion, from which you can admire Dulan Mountain and clearly see the curved entrance of Dulan Bay. On clear days, you can even glimpse Green Island in the distance. On the other side of the viewing platform, unique geographical features such as Beinan River, Little Yellow Mountain, and Liji Badlands are visible. Scattered among the plains are houses arranged in an organized manner. Standing at this vantage point, you can take in the scenery of Taitung Plain and the eastern coast, feeling the insignificance of humans against the vastness of nature. If you visit in autumn or winter, you may also have the chance to see soaring birds of prey such as the large-billed crow and the Philippine eagle.
