Fuyuan Observation Deck Introduction
Fuyuan Observation Deck is located on elevated ground, offering a place to enjoy views that stretch a full 360 degrees, providing a broad perspective. The observation deck consists of a wooden platform and a pavilion. From Fuyuan Observation Deck, you can admire Dulan Mountain, and the curved bay of Dulan Bay is also clearly visible; on clear days, you might even see Green Island in the distance. On the other side of the observation deck, you can see distinctive geological features such as Beinan River, Little Huang Mountain, and Liji Badlands, with scattered houses dotting the plains. Standing at this high point, you can take in the views of Taitung Plain and the East Coast, feeling the insignificance of humanity against the vastness of nature. If you visit in the autumn or winter, you may have the chance to see large hawks such as the Crested Serpent Eagle and the Black Kite soaring in the sky.
