Xinhua Tribe Introduction
Xinhua Village is a Paiwan indigenous community that stands out for its promotion of the cultivation and collection of indigenous medicinal herbs. Through the operation of a herb production and sales group, they systematically cultivate and collect over one hundred types of herbs. This group also develops processed herbal products to enhance the economic income of the village. The Xinhua mountainous area is home to a rare species of tree, the Taiwan fir, which is abundant in number throughout Taiwan.
