Xinhua Village Introduction
Xinhua Village is a Paiwan indigenous tribe, notable for its promotion of the cultivation and gathering of traditional indigenous herbs. Through the operation of a herb production and marketing class, herbs are systematically cultivated and collected, with over a hundred types of herbs gathered here. The class also develops herbal products to enhance the economic income of the village. The mountainous area around Xinhua is home to the rare Taiwan fir, with the largest quantity in the country. By making a prior reservation, you can be guided by local tour guides to witness the world's largest Taiwan fir, ensuring a rewarding visit. In Xinhua Village, you can also visit the Kazdas Cultural Arts Studio, the studio of renowned indigenous wood sculptor Lin Hsin-Yi.
