Wuyou Cave Introduction
The Wuyou Cave is located on the northern coast of the Green Island Lighthouse and is a small pool that only appears during low tide. The nearby coastline features rocky shorelines, where the seawater is trapped by circular reefs during low tide, forming a small pool. Contrary to the imagery suggested by the name "Wuyou Cave," this spot has tidal characteristics and, due to its lagoon-like terrain, the water is calm and sometimes sparkles with a bluish-green gem-like sheen, making it quite beautiful. Additionally, the beach above this pool has a crescent shape, leading some to refer to it as the "Wuyou Cave Half-Moon Pool." The beach features shell sand unique to Green Island, with pure and flawless sand combined with the calm, clear, and enchanting water surface, captivating visitors. Facing the sun, you can see the shell sand shimmering with golden points of light while feeling it gently rubbing beneath your feet. Unlike typical sandy beaches, it has distinct grains that produce a soft rustling sound when rubbed together, paired with the gem-like waters of the small pool, allowing one to fully experience the charming allure of a tropical island.
