Wuyou Cave Introduction
Wuyou Cave is located on the northern coast of the Green Island Lighthouse and is a small pool that is revealed only at low tide. The nearby shoreline consists of rocky coasts, where the sea water is trapped by the circular reef during low tide, forming a small pool. Contrary to the name "Wuyou Cave," this area not only has intertidal characteristics but also resembles a lagoon, with calm, undisturbed waters that occasionally shimmer with a gem-like turquoise hue, making it very beautiful. Additionally, the beach surrounding the pool is crescent-shaped and is sometimes referred to as "Wuyou Cave Half-Moon Pool." The beach consists of unique shell sand from Green Island, with a pure and flawless sandy shore paired with the stunning and transparent waters that captivate visitors. Under the sunshine, one can observe the shimmering golden glimmers of shell sand while feeling it softly massage beneath the feet. Unlike typical sticky beaches, the sand here consists of distinct grains that make a gentle rustling sound when rubbed together, beautifully complemented by the gem-like waters of the small pool, allowing one to fully experience the enchanting charm of a tropical island in the south.
