Black Oil Cave Introduction
Wuyou Cave is located on the northern coast of Green Island Lighthouse, and it is a small pool that only appears during low tide. This scenic spot is nearby a rocky coastline, where the seawater is trapped by the surrounding reef during low tide, forming a small pool. Contrary to the name "Wuyou Cave," this area not only possesses tidal characteristics but also resembles a lagoon, with calm, undisturbed water that occasionally shimmers with a bluish-green gem-like glow, making it quite beautiful. Additionally, the beach above this pool is crescent-shaped, and it is sometimes referred to as "Wuyou Cave Half-Moon Pool." The beach consists of unique shell sand from Green Island, and the pristine, flawless sand combined with the calm, mesmerizing colors of the water create an enchanting view. Facing the sunlight, one can observe the glimmering shell sand sparkling under the sun, feeling it gently massaging underfoot; unlike typical sandy beaches, it is composed of distinct grains that produce a rustling sound when rubbed together. Coupled with the gem-like pool, this place allows visitors to fully experience the captivating charm of a tropical island.
