Wuyok Cave Introduction
Wuyou Cave is located on the northern coastline of the Green Island Lighthouse and is a small pool that only reveals itself during low tide. This scenic spot is near a rocky coastline, where the water is blocked by circular reefs during low tide, creating a small pool. Contrary to the imagery suggested by the name "Wuyou Cave," this area features characteristics of an intertidal zone and resembles a lagoon, providing a calm and serene pool that occasionally sparkles with jewel-like turquoise glimmers, making it incredibly beautiful. Additionally, the beach surrounding this pool has a crescent shape, leading some to refer to it as "Wuyou Cave Half Moon Pool." The beach consists of shell sand unique to Green Island, with its pristine and unblemished sands paired with the calm and enchanting waters, captivating visitors. Bathed in sunlight, one can watch the shell sand shimmering with golden speckles while feeling it softly shifting underfoot—not sticky like typical beaches, but distinct grains that create a gentle rustling sound when brushed together, harmonizing beautifully with the gem-like hues of the small pool, allowing visitors to fully experience the alluring charm of a tropical island.
