Qixingtan Bicycle Path Introduction
The Qixing Lake bike path, located in the outskirts of Hualien City, is a sunlit avenue dancing with the sea. This bike path has been in existence long before the cycling craze became popular; over the years, it has been extended to connect with Liwu Lake, becoming part of the Two Lakes bike path. The winding Qixing Lake bike path follows the coastal line, taking routes that are difficult for regular vehicles to access. Set against the backdrop of blue skies and ocean, the path offers a moderate difficulty level while showcasing the most beautiful landscapes. Although it has some ups and downs, it's a great opportunity to challenge oneself, with plenty of resting spots along the way to relax before continuing. It is recommended for visitors to try riding during the early morning or evening when it’s not too hot and has a romantic ambiance. If the bicycle has lighting equipment, riding during a full moon can make for a memorable trip under the moonlight.
