Longquan Hydrophilic Park Introduction
Longquan Riverside Park, located beside the contact runway of Jiashan Base in Jialin Village, covers approximately 1,200 ping. It features a vast area of lush green grass, combined with ecological landscapes, making it a great place for public leisure walks. In the early years, due to the irrigation needs of farmland along the external road of Jiashan Base, a well was drilled here, accidentally discovering a plentiful and pure water source, thus earning the name "Longquan." The water source has now been developed into a recreational riverside park. The park is equipped with ecological ditches, suspension bridges, resting platforms, and waterside steps, all surrounded by greenery and planted with aquatic plants. There are two elongated lotus ponds in the park, where visitors can enjoy walking in the summertime, seeing the summer lotuses accompanied by green leaves and pond water, swaying gracefully under the sun. The park also offers stunning views of the Central Mountain Range or the sight of trains rushing by on the North Link Line. Many people choose to visit this riverside area for recreation, enjoying leisurely moments.
