Longquan Riverside Park Introduction
Located next to the contact runway of Jiashan Base in Jialin Village, Longquan Waterfront Park covers an area of approximately 1,200 ping and features expansive green grasslands, combining ecological natural landscapes, making it a great place for the public to relax and take walks. In the past, due to the irrigation needs of farmland along the road connecting Jiashan Base, a well was dug here, leading to the unexpected discovery of abundant water sources and pure water quality, hence the beautiful name "Longquan." The water source has now been developed into a recreational waterfront park. The park includes ecological ditches, suspension bridges, rest platforms, and water-friendly stairs, with surrounding landscaping that features the planting of aquatic plants. The park boasts two elongated lotus ponds, where visitors can stroll during the peak summer season and see the vibrant green leaves and pond water contrasting with blooming summer lotus flowers, swaying gracefully in the sunlight. The park also offers stunning views of the Central Mountain Range and the sight of trains from the North Link Railway passing by swiftly. Many visitors choose to come here for water-related recreation, enjoying leisurely moments.
