Hualien Distillery Introduction
At the beautiful and blue Qixing Lake, don't miss the Hualien Distillery; simply follow the signs and you'll arrive in less than five minutes. What greets you is a vast green meadow complete with baseball diamond grids, beer keg tossing games, and stone table chess, making it a great place for families to have fun and exercise together. As you walk further in, the distillery covers a large area with many buildings, featuring slightly weathered green walls and copper-colored ladder corridors, exuding a vintage and nostalgic charm. The exhibition and sales center in the park is a favorite among visitors, where artistic landscapes made from discarded bottles and kegs can be seen everywhere! Besides offering a variety of domestically produced alcoholic beverages, there are also related products such as golden water, wine fruit, and face masks, with the local specialty, millet wine, being one of the popular items. To meet the demands of personalization in today's era, the Hualien Distillery also offers customized label-making services for its wines, making for a memorable keepsake. The distillery also sells old ceramic wine jars with a capacity of about 30 liters. These jars are crafted with a rustic design and are made as a single piece by hand, making them both practical and decorative. For groups of more than thirty, the distillery provides guided tours, covering the history of the Hualien Distillery, the production process of various types of alcohol, and methods for preserving them. Reservations for guided tours need to be made at least a week in advance.
