At the stunningly blue Qixing Lake, don't miss the Hualien Distillery. Follow the signs for just under five minutes and you'll arrive. What greets you is a vast expanse of lush green grassland, complete with a baseball diamond, 酒甕圈圈, and stone chess tables, making it a great place for family fun and fitness activities. As you venture further in, the distillery covers a wide area with numerous buildings, featuring weathered green walls and copper-colored staircases, exuding a nostalgic charm. The exhibition and sales center within the park is a favorite among visitors, showcasing artistic displays made from discarded bottles and jars! In addition to various local alcoholic beverages for sale, it also offers related products such as Golden Water, liquor fruits, and face masks. Of course, the distinctive local millet wine from Hualien is also one of the popular items. To meet the demands of a personalized era, the distillery also offers customized label services for your own bespoke liquor, making it a memorable keepsake. The distillery also sells traditional clay jars with a capacity of about 30 liters, crafted with a rustic design and molded by hand, making them both practical and collectible. If you have a group of over thirty people, the distillery provides guided tours, which include information about the history of the Hualien Distillery, the production process of various liquors, and storage methods. Tours must be booked at least a week in advance.
