Hualien Distillery Introduction
When visiting the enchanting blue Qixingtan, don't miss the Hualien Distillery. Following the signs, you'll reach it in less than five minutes. What greets you is a vast green meadow featuring baseball grids, liquor barrel tossing games, and stone table chess, making it a great place for family fun and fitness. As you venture inside, the distillery covers a large area, with numerous buildings, peeling green paint on the walls, and picturesque copper-colored staircases, exuding a nostalgic charm. The exhibition and sales center in the park is a favorite among visitors, showcasing artistic displays made from discarded bottles and barrels! In addition to offering a variety of locally produced liquors for sale, they also sell related products such as golden water, fruit wines, face masks, and of course, Hualien's renowned millet wine, which is one of the popular items. To cater to the personalized demands of today's era, the Hualien Distillery also offers customized labels for orders, making for a memorable keepsake. The distillery sells traditional ceramic liquor jars with a capacity of about 30 liters, crafted with a rustic style and produced as one piece, possessing both practical and aesthetic value. If there are more than thirty people, the distillery provides guided tours, explaining the history of the Hualien Distillery, the manufacturing process of various liquors, and methods of liquor preservation. The request for guided tours must be made one week in advance.
