Hualien Distillery Introduction
When you arrive at the enchanting blue Qixingtan, don't miss the Hualien Distillery; follow the signs and you'll reach it in less than five minutes. What greets you is a vast green prairie, complete with a baseball diamond, games involving wine jars, and stone tables for chess—perfect for family fun and fitness. As you venture inside, the distillery covers a large area with numerous buildings, featuring slightly weathered green walls and copper-colored corridors, brimming with historical charm and nostalgia. The exhibition and sales center within the park is a favorite among visitors, showcasing artistic landscapes made from discarded bottles and jars! Besides offering various domestic alcoholic beverages for sale, there are also related products such as golden water, fruit wine, and face masks. Of course, the local specialty, millet wine, is also one of the best sellers. To meet the demands of a personalized era, the Hualien Distillery also provides a service for custom labels on the wine, making it a memorable keepsake. Moreover, the distillery sells old ceramic wine jars with a capacity of about 30 liters, crafted in a simple and rustic style, which is quite valuable for both practical use and decoration. If there are more than thirty people, the distillery offers guided tours that explain the history of Hualien Distillery, the manufacturing processes of various types of alcohol, and storage methods for the liquor. Reservations for the guided tour need to be made at least one week in advance.
