Carp Mountain Trail Introduction
Liuyuan Mountain Trail is located next to Liuyuan Lake in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It belongs to the low-altitude forest of the Central Mountain Range. The Hualien Forest District Office has built multiple trails here, and there are four trailheads for hiking, birdwatching, picnicking, and fitness along the Round Lake Road, allowing visitors to plan routes according to their needs. Along the trail, you can enjoy the mountain-water scenery of Liuyuan Lake, taking a leisurely walk while birdwatching and taking in the sights; once reaching the top, the broad view of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, Central Mountain Range, and Coastal Mountain Range is breathtaking.
