Carp Mountain Trail Introduction
The Li-Yu Mountain Trail is located next to Li-Yu Lake in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It is part of the low-altitude forests of the Central Mountain Range. The Hualien Forest District Office has constructed several trails here, with four trailheads for hiking, birdwatching, picnicking, and fitness along the Circum-Lake Road, allowing visitors to plan their routes according to their needs. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy the scenic views of Li-Yu Lake and take a leisurely stroll while birdwatching. Once reaching the summit, the expansive views of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, Central Mountain Range, and Coastal Mountain Range are truly breathtaking.
