Carp Mountain Trail Introduction
The Liuyuan Mountain Trail is located next to Liuyuan Lake in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, and is part of the low-elevation forests of the Central Mountain Range. The Hualien Forest District Office has built multiple trails here, with four trailheads for hiking, bird watching, picnicking, and fitness along the Lakeside Road, allowing visitors to plan their routes according to their needs. Along the trail, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of Liuyuan Lake, taking a leisurely stroll and watching birds. Upon reaching the summit, the expansive views of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, Central Mountain Range, and Coastal Mountain Range are breathtaking.
