Carp Mountain Trail Introduction
Li Yu Mountain Trail is located next to Li Yu Lake in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It is part of the low-altitude forest of the Central Mountain Range. The Hualien Forest District Office has built several trails here, with four trailheads for hiking, birdwatching, picnicking, and exercising along the Lake Road, allowing visitors to plan their routes according to their needs. Along the trail, you can enjoy the scenic views of Li Yu Lake, walk slowly, and watch birds while appreciating the scenery. Upon reaching the summit, the expansive view offers stunning sights of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, the Central Mountain Range, and the Coastal Mountain Range.
