Carp Mountain Trail Introduction
Liushidan Trail is located next to Liyu Pond in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It belongs to the low-elevation forests of the Central Mountain Range. The Hualien Forest District Office has built numerous trails here, with four trailheads for hiking, bird watching, picnicking, and fitness located along the Liyu Pond Road, allowing visitors to plan their routes according to their needs. The trail offers picturesque views of Liyu Pond's landscape, where you can stroll slowly, enjoy birdwatching and the scenery along the way. Once you reach the summit, the expansive view of the Huatung Valley, Central Mountain Range, and Coastal Mountain Range is breathtaking.
