National Dong Hwa University Introduction
National Dong Hwa University is located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. In recent years, it has merged with Hualien University of Education and additionally has the Dong Hwa University Meilun Campus. If Tunghai University embodies Eastern antiquity, then National Dong Hwa University showcases elegant European style. The European architecture and the vast campus environment compose a watercolor picture situated in the Hualien-Taitung Valley, creating a sense of stepping into a small Europe. The campus is ecologically rich; in the past, wild rabbits could often be seen running around the campus, and if you pay close attention now, you will still occasionally notice small animals around you! If we were to vote for the most beautiful university in Taiwan, National Dong Hwa University would undoubtedly be on the list. The artificial Dong Lake and the naturally secluded Hual Lake reflect the elegant buildings on their surfaces. The scenery of lakes and mountains, along with Hualien's unique blue sky and white clouds, combined with the distant Central Mountain Range, weave together the most naturally beautiful scene.
