The Liuyutan Visitor Center, surrounded by beautiful lake and mountain scenery, is located at the northern banks of Liuyutan. It offers bike rentals, a souvenir shop, rest areas, and information services for visitors. Entering one of the halls in the visitor center, you will be greeted by prominent indigenous wood carvings welcoming travelers. Inside, there is an exhibition hall showcasing the formation and natural landscapes of Liuyutan, along with rich photographs and textual explanations, as well as information on local indigenous culture. As you walk further inside, you will find explanations of the unique industries of the Hualien-Taitung Valley on both sides of the corridor, including the sixty-stone mountain daylily fields, the vast rural scenery of the valley, and the fresh milk from Chulu Ranch, among other detailed guides. This provides travelers visiting Liuyutan for a cup of afternoon tea with insights into the unique industries of the Hualien-Taitung Valley and helps plan key travel destinations.
