Qimei - Lower Alley Introduction
Xiawei Lower Alley is located between Liwan Recreational Area and Dashi Scenic Area, where there is a small bay surrounded by basalt cliffs. The coastal area has formed two gaps due to coastal erosion, resembling an alley; the upper one is called Upper Alley, and the larger southern gap is known as Lower Alley, which is a necessary passage for local residents to reach the seaside. Following the stone steps, it leads directly to the sea, constituting a small bay on the coastal erosion platform. Surrounding areas offer close views of the slanted columnar joint cliffs and the azure sea. On both sides of Lower Alley, cliffs create shallow areas that have become fishing spots. There is a viewing pavilion for resting, where one can appreciate the entire coastline from Longcheng, Shishi, to Lower Alley. 【Recommended visiting time】 1 hour
