Qimei - Xiaxiang Introduction
Xiawei Alley, located between Liwan Recreation Area and Dashi Scenic Area, features a small bay surrounded by basalt cliffs. The coastal area has two openings formed by sea erosion, resembling an alley; the upper opening is referred to as "Ding Alley," while the southern opening, which is larger, is called "Xia Alley." This route is essential for local residents heading to the seaside. Following the stone steps leads directly to the small bay, which serves as a wave-cut platform. Visitors can closely observe the sloping columnar joint cliffs and the azure sea surrounding the area. On either side of Xia Alley, cliffs converge to form a shallow flat area, becoming a popular spot for anglers. There is also a viewing pavilion provided for resting, where one can enjoy the entire coastline stretching from Longcheng, Shishi, to Xia Alley. 【Recommended stay time】 1 hour.
