Wu Fu God was brought by residents from Kinmen, Xiamen, and other counties when they settled in Wang'an Township, Penghu County in 1706. Due to living issues, the residents later migrated to Qimei Township (formerly known as Danyu) and continued to worship Wu Bi Li, hence the name Wu Fu God. The temple is called Wu Fu Palace.
