Nei'an Recreation Area Introduction
Neiwan (also known as Neiwan Bay) is located to the southwest of Neiwan Village and to the north of Waiwan Village, extending from Kuaizai Bian to Biwei. It is named Neiwan (or Neiwan Bay) because it is situated behind the Neiwan village (to the north). Along the coast, in addition to the basalt geological landscape, there is a vast sandy beach with fine white sand and a flat terrain, making it a popular spot for residents to enjoy water activities and tide pool explorations, commonly referred to as Baisha Beach. The Neiwan Recreation Area is located at the foot of a cliff beside the road, and one can easily overlook this beautiful scenery if not careful. Behind the beach in the Neiwan Recreation Area, a wooden pathway has been constructed following the terrain changes. The trails in the recreation area are about 500 meters long, providing excellent locations for sea-viewing and listening to the waves; from the wooden pathway and pavilion, you can enjoy distant views of Hsueh-chih Point at the northern tip of Chihsi. The soft sandy beach and crystal-clear waters are the most attractive features of Neiwan Recreation Area, with a beautifully varied landscape. The expansive ocean, blue sky, and wide white sandy beach create a mesmerizing scene. The beach area changes with the tides; at low tide, the beach appears to retreat into the ocean, giving the impression of endlessness. This shallow beach is perfect for playing and observing beach life, making it worthwhile to stop and explore. [Recommended stay time] 1 hour
