Nei'an Village Pagoda Introduction
Located in the northwest of Neian Village, near Beigang. It was formerly known as "Neiqian," due to its low-lying terrain, surrounded by slopes to the north, east, and south, while facing the ocean to the west. About one nautical mile west of Beigang, there is a reef commonly known as "Hai Lai Jiao," with land north of the reef referred to as "Huanzi Wei"; between Hai Lai Jiao and Huanzi Wei, a channel is formed that directs straight to the Neiqian settlement. According to legends of the ancestors: early residents were often attacked by iron arrows, frequently facing disasters and unable to live in peace; later, they invited a geomancer from Tangshan to conduct an on-site inspection, who advised that they must quickly build towers and walls for protection to ensure safety. The residents of the settlement believed this to be true. During the reign of the Daoguang Emperor in the Qing Dynasty (1843), a prominent family named Lu Lun in the settlement took the lead, gathering strong young men from the entire settlement to work together to transport stones and build two towers, the Tower Gong and Tower Po, at "Hui Zai Bian"; they then used Tower Gong as a base to extend and construct city walls approximately 150 meters to the north, and build city walls to Tower Po, also about 150 meters to the south. The Tower Gong is one meter high, and the Tower Po is four meters high. The city walls are about two meters high and one meter wide. As of this year (1995), it has a history of 152 years. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours.
