Chih-mei Beach Introduction
The North Ring County Road 203, located within Chima Village, features a tranquil beach. Entering the small alley opposite the Chima Pantao Temple and walking straight ahead, you will discover a wide expanse of sea and sand. The sand here is fine, and during low tide, a vast sandy beach becomes exposed. Chima Beach boasts extremely fine sand, making it ideal for water activities; as the sun sets, the golden sandy beach is also a great spot for sunset viewing. The sand glimmers in a golden hue under the sunlight, making it one of the most charming features of Penghu's beaches. Lying on the beach, watching the distant sunset and seeing children carefree at play on the sand, at this moment, all worries are pushed aside. Here, you can enjoy the afterglow of the sunset, the fiery red sky, and the golden beach, creating a beautiful scene. Several dramas have also been filmed here. A small pavilion has been built by the harbor's breakwater, allowing visitors to enjoy the sea while avoiding the scorching sun. Nearby, there used to be the Chima West Trail wooden boardwalk that extended all the way to Neian, but it has been damaged due to weather and coastal erosion and is no longer passable. [Recommended Stay Time] 0.5 hours.
