Chima Beach Introduction
The North Ring 203 County Road features a tranquil beach within Chima Village. Enter through the small alley opposite the Chima Fantao Hall and walk straight to discover a vast expanse of sea and beach. The sand here is fine, and during low tide, a wide area of beach is exposed. Chima Beach boasts very fine sand, making it perfect for water activities; as the sun sets, the golden sandy beach is an excellent spot for watching the sunset. Under the sunlight, the beach displays a golden hue, which is the most charming aspect of Penghu beaches. Lying on the beach, with a view of the distant sunset and children playing carefreely on the sand, all the annoying trivialities of life fade away in that moment. One can enjoy the afterglow of the sunset, the fiery sky, and the golden beach, creating a beautiful blueprint. Several dramas have also filmed here. By the harbor embankment, there are shaded pavilions where visitors can enjoy the sea while avoiding the scorching sun. There used to be a wooden boardwalk on the Chima West Trail that allowed a continuous walk to Nei'an, but due to weather impacts and coastal erosion, the boardwalk has been damaged and is no longer passable.
