Chih Ma Beach Introduction
On County Road 203, in Chi Ma Village, there is a tranquil beach. Enter through the alleyway opposite the Chi Ma Fan Tao Temple and walk straight until you discover a wide expanse of sea and sand. The sand here is fine and when the tide goes out, a vast area of beach is revealed. Chi Ma Beach has very fine sand, making it ideal for water activities; the golden sand at sunset is also a great spot to watch the sun go down. Under the sunlight, the beach shines with a golden hue, showcasing the most charming aspects of Penghu's beaches. Lying on the sand, watching the distant sunset and children carefree playing on the beach, one can completely forget about all the bothersome matters. Here, you can enjoy the afterglow of the sunset, the fiery red sky, and the golden beach together, creating a beautiful picture. Several shows have also filmed scenes here. There is a small pavilion along the harbor's embankment where you can enjoy the sea while escaping the scorching sun. Previously, there was a wooden plank path along the Chi Ma West Trail that extended all the way to Nei An, but it has been damaged due to weather, wind, and sea erosion and is currently inaccessible. [Recommended stay time] 0.5 hours.
