Chihma Beach Introduction
The North Huan 203 County Road, located within the Chima Village, features a serene beach. Enter through the alley opposite the Chima Fantao Temple and walk straight to discover a wide expanse of sea and sand. The sand here is fine, and a broad stretch of beach is exposed during low tide. Chima Beach boasts incredibly fine sand, making it perfect for water activities; as the sun sets, the golden sandy beach becomes an ideal spot for sunset viewing. The beach glistens in a golden hue under the sunlight, showcasing the charm of Penghu's beaches. Lying on the sand, watching the distant sunset and carefree children playing on the beach, all trivial worries fade away in that moment. Here, you can appreciate the afterglow of the sunset, the fiery sky, and the golden beach, forming a beautiful scene. Several dramas have also filmed here. Alongside the harbor embankment, there is a small pavilion providing shade where visitors can enjoy the sea while escaping the harsh sun. Previously, there was a wooden boardwalk along the Chima West Trail that extended to Neian, but it has now been damaged due to weather and sea conditions and is no longer passable.
