Moat Introduction
The moat is located in the city center, adjacent to the plaza in front of the railway station, and integrates with Dongmen City Gate, forming a connected area that provides a waterfront recreational space in the city center. In 2016, underground water was introduced into the river from sections of Central Road and World Street, and aquatic plants were planted. Accessibility ramps were added, along with scattered stepping stones in the river and an open circular cultural and artistic performance stage, which enhanced the "water and green" spaces in the city. In 2020, the old facilities along the moat from Linsen Road to Central Road were renovated with the spirit of "restoring the old as it was."
